Human resource managers are responsible for planning, directing and coordinating policies concerning employees in organisations. Their role also includes the management of industrial relations, occupational health and safety activities, compensation strategies, and for the development of employees within organisations. The qualification provides a broad base of knowledge areas and practical application for the human resource management function which is central to the success and competitive advantage of organisations.
