Montagu Foods currently has a vacancy for an energetic, passionate, and assertive Sales Executive based in Cape Town

Key Responsibilities
To develop and implement channel and customer plans, strategies and activity plans to grow categories and products in line with budgeted objectives.

Required Knowledge
• Business planning process, business objectives
• Competitor and market dynamics
• Financial management – price strategies, margin ratio calculations, i.e. ROI, days cover, mark up
• Customer / trade dynamics, customer strategies
• Channel and category strategies (Retail, Foodservice, QSR, Export and other)
• Persuasive selling / negotiation skills and techniques
• Leadership and coaching skills and techniques
• National account strategies and activity plans
• Activating shopper promotions i.e. in-store promotions

Required Prior Learning/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business discipline
• 6-7 Years in FMCG environment (Food Industry experience preferable and Retail & Food service experience required)
• 6-7 Years minimum experience in account and sales management
