The Khayelitsha Community Trust (“KCT”) was founded by the City of Cape Town in 2003 with a mandate to procure the development of a Central Business District (CBD) in Khayelitsha. The Trust, a NPO with a PBO tax status, established subsidiaries with the objective of ensuring the Trust’s mandate is achieved. Collectively the Trust and its subsidiaries are referred to as KCT Group.
